Life Beyond Cancer (LBC) 2004 offered a three-day retreat for women cancer survivors at Miraval, Life in Balance resort in North Tucson, Ariz. Focusing on physical, emotional and spiritual issues related to wellness after cancer treatment, participant experienced a variety of workshops, lectures and group activities. The goal is to enable participants to return to their local communities to begin support services and advocacy programs, while having a meaningful personal experience.
